Since exchanging a timeshare is closely associated with what "season" (colour), is owned, this again may restrict you in your choice of destination and dates.

For floating time owners, there is a common misconception that if a week is red and floating, it means that a reservation can be made during any of the 52 weeks of the year. This may or may not be true it all depends on the resort. The resorts rules & regulations set forth will determine what the reservation period (from and to) is for each colour designation.
